Our Founders
Prasad Dhume is a gold medalist from IIT Madras for his MTech Degree in Machine Design. He has also received multiple awards and accolades in the academic sector.
After working in TATA MOTORS for close to 15 years, Prasad spent more than a decade pioneering the design and manufacturing of prosthetic legs for above-knee amputees for medical use in India. He has designed and manufactured several other products like insoles, knee-braces, etc. His profound expertise in the field makes him a reliable leader for designing cutting-edge products for healthcare and well-being.

Manjushri Dhume is an MTech in Energy Systems Engineering from IIT-Powai. With a decade long experience in the engineering industry and another decade with Infosys, Manjushri spent the later 10 years of her career establishing herself as a pioneer in the education sector. She introduced teachers and students to interactive math and how to make learning an enjoyable activity for school children.

Area of Expertise – Knee Injuries & Surgeries
Dr. Shreerang Joshi is a seasoned Orthopaedic Surgeon with 40+ years of professional experience. A recipient of the prestigious Dr. K. T. Dholakia Fellowship, Dr. Joshi has special expertise in laser-assisted arthroscopic surgery of the knee and, for over a decade, was the only surgeon performing this surgery in India. He also has 20+ years of teaching experience as a Professor of Orthopaedics. In addition to his surgical and teaching practice, Dr. Joshi has worked on several R&D projects related to joint replacement and prosthesis development.
Area of Expertise – Evaluation & Pain Management
Devika Mehta is an experienced Physiotherapist with a specialization in Sports Medicine. She is qualified in several rehabilitation techniques, such as the Bobath approach for neurological rehabilitation, kinesiology and rigid taping, and dry needling. She also has extensive on-field physiotherapy experience with various sports teams and individual athletes. She runs her physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic out of Pune and has worked at several renowned hospitals.
Area of Expertise – Biomechanics & Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Sujatha Srinivasan is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Head of the TTK Center for Rehabilitation Research and Device Development (R2D2) at IIT Madras. With a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, her research focuses on assistive devices, movement biomechanics, and rehabilitation engineering. She has published extensively in reputed journals and holds multiple patents in prosthetic and assistive technologies. Dr. Srinivasan has received numerous awards for her contributions, including the INAE Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship.
Area of Expertise – Product Development & Safety
M. Vijayalakshmi is the India Product Development Director at Ford – International Markets Group (IMG). Her professional experience spans over 20 years at Ford and 27 years in the industry. Her expertise includes product development, program management, engineering, and quality management. Vijayalakshmi has been pivotal in all Ford product launches in India. She is also the recipient of the “Promising Young Women Engineer Award” by I.Mech.E – Nashik Chapter.
